Blog Zero

I am excited to begin utilizing my ePortfolio. The idea of having a space where I can organize and share my work is very inviting. The only downside of the interface I have yet discovered is the picture sizing. No matter the orientation or dimensions of the pictures I upload, they always seem to be blurry or pixelated. This is however, something that I will be able to manage in the next class. On the contrary, this website is much easier to navigate than websites that have been set up for me by my teachers in the past. My favorite aspect of this site is that I am able to make it my own by choosing different themes and my own pictures.

The ePortfolio has a bit of an advantage to pen and paper for a number of reasons. First, it is available to my professor, my peers, and myself at all times. If the a blog was on paper, it would only be accessible to one individual at a time. In addition, my peers and professors are able to leave comments regarding my posts. This enables me to receive helpful feedback that I can use to better my writing. Lastly, staying organized is much less of a hassle. I consider myself to be very neat and orderly, but there is not much you can do about piles of looseleaf notes and printed assignments. In my ePortfolio, I am able to make pages and posts in an organized fashion and I can take them with me wherever I go.
